Erlangen

I'm a naturally born frankonian ;-)
from Erlangen, living about 30 years there, but I'm now living and working in Munich since 2000.

It's a very funny town, the average age is quite young, due to many Students (about 30.000 in the Region of Nuremberg and Erlangen) and there is so much to do there.

It's about 2 hours to go to alpine Skiing (okay.... say about 3 ;-) ); the "Fränkische Schweiz" is quite a stone's throw away, where You can have much fun with Your Motobike (or Muscle-Powered-Bike ;-) )

and If You like cave exploration, it's a paradise with many "secret holes" i've explored with my friends.

And If You are anxious of deep holes You can have the same fun with climbing (okay, it's a longer time ago when i had this hobby, now I'm to fat to do this ... You have difficulty-levels from 3 to 11+ (that's the maximum level...) the most routes are about one rope length (about 30 - 50) meters and are also good for newbies.

If You're in Erlangen don't miss some locations like "Strohalm" and "Kanapee"

.... to be continued and filled with content
